J. White Custom 17 HMR. Aluminum stock system, retractable butt stock, Cerakote finish, barrel threaded to action,
action blueprinted and threaded to receive barrel. Barrel was fluted and barrel and action were parkerized.
Barrel Porting
These pictures are of a Martini Enfield converted to 257 Roberts. This project posed many
engineering challenges to convert to a rimless cartridge the largest being, in stead of a simple lever type extractor,
that simple lever needed to become able to make three specific movements when cycling the action. The second, designing a
safety as these rifles never had one. It now has a safety that engages each time the lever is dropped and can be released
with your middle finger. It also has a unique scope mount and forearm support that attaches only to the receiver and
allows the barrel to float freely. (Thanks Dave, for your patience, I know this project took a while.)
